Reference values for CertiFiber Pro
If your reference values fail to meet the expected power stated below, you should inspect the output ports as well as your test reference cords using a video microscope such as the FI-1000; an optional probe for your CertiFiber Pro.
Where -24 dBm is better than -25 dBm.
If your reference values are within expectation, your test reference cords could still be poor. Verifying your test reference cords is a separate procedure. For SC, LC, ST and FC duplex links, use the RUN WIZARD in the CertiFiber Pro. This will walk you through the reference procedure including the all-important step of verifying the test reference cords, and it also saves a record of the TRC verification in your test results.
