Software update fails - DTX CableAnalyzer
| Were you looking to see how to update your DTX CableAnalyzer? If the DTX CableAnalyzer fails to update/reflash the software, the most likely cause is the battery running too low to operate. Plug the power supplies into the DTXs. Main Unit ONLY Switch off the main unit. Hold down the Backlight (  ) and Talk ( ) buttons. Keeping them held down, power up the DTX. It will play a little tune. Once it has played the tune, let go of the buttons. Start the upgrade process again with the USB connected to the main unit using LinkWare Software. Remote Unit ONLY Switch off the remote unit. Hold down the Test (  ) and Talk () buttons. Keeping them held down, power up the DTX. It will play a little tune. Once it has played the tune, let go of the buttons. Start the upgrade process again with the USB connected to the remote and using LinkWare Software. |
