Fluke Networks Introduces New Versiv Mainframe with Integrated Wi-Fi to Support Rapidly Growing LinkWare Live community

New Hardware 100% Compatible with All Versiv Measurement Modules, Software, and Accessories
Fluke Networks today announced a new mainframe and remote for its market-leading Versiv Cabling Certification System. This new offering addresses customers’ requests for integrated Wi-Fi to support its rapidly growing LinkWare Live software service. The new “Versiv 2” models are fully compatible with all existing Versiv measurement modules (including the DSX CableAnalyzer™ Series, CertiFiber™ Pro OLTS, OptiFiber® Pro OTDR and FI-7000 FiberInspector™ Pro), options, and accessories.
“Versiv users are increasing their productivity with LinkWare Live, and with over eight million results uploaded to date, it’s becoming a major driver of our business.”, said Eric Conley , VP and General Manager of Fluke Networks. “This large and growing community of customers requested we eliminate the USB ‘dongle’ required for Wi-Fi access, so we designed it into a new mainframe.”
As part of this redesign, Fluke Networks incorporated the latest components, improving and extending manufacturability. This will benefit existing Versiv owners, as Fluke Networks can support the existing Versiv mainframe and remote for as long as they support the new Versiv 2.
