Calibration for LinkIQ

There is no factory calibration for the LinkIQ. An authorized Fluke Networks Service Center can however offer a performance test. This performance test does not provide a calibration certificate.

The LinkIQ qualifies installations whereas testers such as the DSX CableAnalyzer certify the performance of cable installations to international standards such as the ANSI/TIA-568 and the ISO/IEC 11801. There are very tight and specific performance parameters in the standards for field Cable Analyzers like the DSX. To assure accuracy and meet these higher levels of performance, these more sophisticated testers can be calibrated if their test results have drifted outside of the acceptable values. This calibration is performed by comparing measured values to traceable calibration artifacts.
